The contest started with the written test
Official welcome ceremony:

After the official part the participants took part in forest activities, they had many different tasks, teaching them the everyday's work of a forester. They also scored points to the overall results.

In the meantime the YPEF International Commission was also working - already discussing the next year's edition of the YPEF contest.
Another task of the students was to prepare and present posters on selected topics related to forests and forestry.

The award ceremony - here you can see the teams - all of them performed really great, the differences in scores were very small. We can say that everybody were winners.
Some of the national teams prepared short presentations about their countries. Everybody really enjoyed that!
Everybody had a really great time during this year's final. And next year we will try even harder.
