This is where the final took place – beautiful Sagadi Manor in Estonia

This is how the event started – pictures from the opening ceremony:

After the opening ceremony our participants from 11 countries proceeded with the test of knowledge about forests and forestry of European countries. All teams had to answer to 50 test questions.

On the same day the teams had their presentations in which they presented the forests of their country.

The YPEF final was not just a test and presentations, on the next day our participants also had some fun. They visited the forestry museum and after that had a bicycle trip to the seaside and field excursion to the forest.

Finally we had to say good-bye to our participants. This is Mr. Hardi Tullus – President of Estonian Forest Society – the host of the final, giving the speech at the closing ceremony.
