National Stage Contest YPEF in Lithuania – 22nd of May 2014!
The National Stage Contest took place on 22nd of May 2014 at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University (Kaunas).
In Lithuania the YPEF National Stage of the Contest was organized by the Union of Lithuanian Foresters and Directorate General of State Forests under the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania.
The Contest language was English. The Contest has two parts:
1st part: Test (answering a list of 50 prepared questions about European forests)
2nd part: short PP-presentation on „Different issues about Lithuanian Forests and Forestry”
Participants: 9 teams (27 students) from the secondary schools and gymnasiums.
Winners!!!
Winners are two young ladies Justė Dobrovolskytė (17), Simona Valonytė (16) and Mr.Vytautas Kubilius(17), Teacher - Mrs. Rasa Gaidienė, from Kazio Inčiūros secondary school, Troškūnai town, District of Anykščiai.
