In Portugal the YPEF Contest is organized by Forestis – Associação Florestal de Portugal.

On the 28^th of May was determined the Portuguese National Winning Team, composed by João Mota, João Marques and João Pereira, from the Escola Profissional Mariana Seixas, from district of Viseu, who were accompanied by the English teacher, Mrs. Elisabete Gomes Marques.

Due to a tie in the 2^nd Part, this edition of the contest had 3 parts:

1^st Part (24^th of April): text answering a list of 50 prepared questions about European forests and one development question about Portuguese Forests

2^nd Part (09^th of May): text answering a list of 50 prepared questions about European forests and one development question about Portuguese Forests

3^rd Part (28^th of May): answering two development questions about two European countries.

The National Winning Team will participate from 29 September to 03 October in the European Stage of YPEF Contest that will be held in Eberswalde in Germany.
