Get Involved

The National Stage Contest took place on 21st of March 2014 
(10.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.) at the Technical Forestry High School Bruck / Mur (Styria), Dr. Theodor Körnerstrasse 44, 8600 Bruck / Mur.

In Austria the Contest was organized by the Union of Austrian Foresters
The Contest language was Englisch.

The Contest has two parts:
1^st part: Test (answering a list of preapared questions about European forests)
2^nd part: short PP-presentation of „Different issues about Austrian Forest`s”

Participants are students from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes (apr. 100 students) - Forestry High School. (2a and 2b, 3a and 3b, 4a and 4b)

We would like to thank all of you who have sent photos to the contest "Coniferous forest".  Our Jury have had really hard time choosing the best photos – each and every photo was great and in its own way unique!  So once again big thanks for your efforts and keep it up!

Each year, Forest Friends Associations asks and encourages young people to send photographs that speak to a particular theme related with forests matters. Photos were judged on educational merits, creativity and photographic quality by panel of experts in the field of forest educations. This year in our contests participated almost 700 young amateur photo enthusiasts from over whole Poland!!!

Thank you for your participations and commitment!

As we wrote in the contests rules of the “Autumn Forest “,  we’ve selected mini-contests participants who gained the most points in total in all mini contests in 2013: ”Forest in Winter”, “Spring in the Forest”, “Autumn Forest”.

Title of “Forest Photographer of the Year 2013” goes to:
