YPEF contest in Estonia starts on 19 th of April! The National Stage is organized by Estonian Society of Foresters. More information (in Estonian) can be found here http://old.ypef.eu/tere_tulemast_rahvusvahelisele.

In polish schools photo contest "Forests in Europe" took place, dedicated to young people interested in European forests and forestry, from schools participating in YPEF contest. The winner is Agata Szczepaniak from Gimnazjum nr 3 Gimny Wągrowiec im. Henryka Sienkiewicza, Rąbczyn. First place took her photo "Chords of spring". Ten photos were distinguished made by Alicja Leszczyńska (Liceum Ogólnokształcące im.Piotra Skargi w Pułtusku School), Beata Szkwarek (Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących nr 1 School), Daria Bober (I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Jarosława Dąbrowskiego w Rawiczu School), Z. Estkowska (Liceum Ogólnokształcące im.  The International Contest Commission with representatives of twelve European countries during meeting in Vienna, 22nd-23rd of February announced that International Contest "Young People in European Forests" is taking place.

on Friday February 11th 2011 Chairman of the YPEF International Contest Commission, Mr. Andrzej Kawalec, and member of the International Contest Commitee YPEF, Mr. Mihai Zotta, met in Bucharest with the Secretary of State in Ministry of Environment and Forests, Mr. Cristian Apostol. They have talked also with Mr. Liviu Pavel, Director Impaduriri Dezvoltare in Regia Nationala a Padurirlor-Romsilva. Romania has joined to the Contest, which will be supported by Ministry of Environment and Forest and National Forest Administration Romsilva. Mr. Robert Georg Pache is delegated to the meeting of YPEF International Contest Commission in Vienna, 22-23 of February.
